Announcement!!

Special Announcement.....Angel should have her first EP out in a couple months. We are finally in the process of booking her studio time. She is excited beyond explanation as I am sure you could guess. This has been a long time coming and Angel has dreamed of this for so long. This means that she will finally have a professional demo to send to record producers and her music will be available on iTunes. It's so exciting!!

It's been a hard month!

Things have been a little hard this month. We've had a family crisis. Angel's aunt was in the hospital and it's been a slow recovery. Then one of Angel's best friend's brother has also been in the hospital. You can check out his story here. http://geoffreyjanes.blogspot.com/
So Angel has been a little overwhelmed. Things are finally getting back to normal. So yesterday we were finally able to celebrate Angel's 16th birthday with her. I will post some pictures as soon as I can.

Angel has also been gearing up for busy season. We have some exciting things planned for her. She auditioned for Triad Idol on Saturday and we will find out today if she made it. If she does then March will be a very busy month for her. She will also be performing in the Matthews Got Talent competition here in Matthews. So keep checking back as we have lots of exciting news for you.

I can listen to Angel sing all day long. In fact, most days I do. She sings nonstop. Sometimes we joke that she's our radio and my hubby has been know to proclaim loudly "would someone please turn down that radio, or change the station." Honestly, we love to hear her sing and I have been amazed over and over at how much work she puts into it and how much she's improved over the years.

She put up a video last night that I just can't stop listening to. It's PINK. Not my favorite artist....I tend to be more partial to country, but the song has an awesome message, and Angel nailed it! You can really hear her individuality and talent in this video. Check it out! If you don't, you are really missing something this time!

Lots of new videos!

So I have been trying to keep up and get this blog up to date with all the new videos Angel's done, but she's putting them up faster than I can post on here. She's put up 4 new videos just since Friday and I'm pretty sure she has several more in the works to be put up really soon, so keep checking back. She is working like crazy right now.

Here is her first music video to her own original. This is the first time this song has been heard on Youtube. It's called YOU GET TO ME. This would make a perfect wedding song too.
